Show #8 - "Bracketville: Pound Your Pool!"

The Specialist and AKG move to Bracketville and hand out poundings with the help of special guests Te and Dick Vitale. The gang discuss the final episode of "Tilt" and The Specialist makes a pitch for the next hit ESPN dramatic series. The Specialist then solicits the advice of AKG, Te, and Dicky V. while filling out his NCAA office basketball pool. Te offers his expert opinions as AKG attempts to outshout him. Anyone else doing the pool? So far it's just AKG and myself (TE).

RKW, thanks for joining the pool. Who is the Sex Pistols fan? Care to identify yourself?

To resolve a few unanswered questions from the show:

I finally decided to go with North Carolina over UConn in the elite 8, to complete my final four at Illinois, Wake, UNC, and Syracuse, with UNC defeating Illinois in the national title game.

My office pool also requires choices for game high scorer and tournament high scorer. Both of my picks came from Syracuse, w/ Gerry McNamara as game high, and Hakim Warrick as tournament high scorer.

I also made a couple of adjustments post-show. I now have Alabama beating BC in the 2nd round and Florida defeating Villanova in the second round.

Otherwise, I think the rest of my show selections hold true.

Best of luck to all,

The Specialist

Specialist you dweeb. I guess I'll end up winning the innaugural Specialist and AKG pool when Uconn takes it all.

I vote for Denham Brown as tournament high scorer and Reddick as game high scorer.

Well, this show was a complete waste. Pitt and Bama have already gone down in the first group of games!

I apparently just flushed my money down the toilet, with my head to follow shortly thereafter.

I just want to apologize for some of my picks being way off. It's tough to predict these things. With that being said....Go Huskies! (and Catamounts).
